canfitpro Global Conference & Trade Show
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with canfitpro.
Event volunteers will work directly under a Volunteer Lead and canfitpro staff. Volunteers may be required to provide support in other areas outside of their registered schedule. Each role is different and may require different responsibilities that may become stressful or strenuous at times. We ask that you please come with a friendly and positive "can-do" attitude and have fun with the team.
Waitlist: If there are no shifts available, you will be added to a waitlist. You will be contacted once shifts become available.
VOLUNTEER SHIFTS SELECTION
You must complete 3 full shifts to qualify for full volunteer benefits:
1 Shift: 1-year Professional canfitpro Membership
2 Shifts: 1-year Professional canfitpro Membership + 4 CEC
3 Shifts: 1-year Professional canfitpro Membership + 8 CECs up to 12
Any Memberships expiring BEFORE the event must be paid to renew. The complimentary membership will be added after the last day of the event, validating your membership for an additional year.
• You may sign up for no more than 2 shifts per day, from Wednesday-Saturday
• Please pay attention to the shift(s) you are signing up for and ensure that you have checked your local bus/train and traffic schedules to confirm that you are able to arrive on time for the shift(s).
• Please do not sign up for shift(s) that you cannot fulfill. Shift times cannot be changed. If you cannot work the full-time frame of a shift, please choose another job/shift (i.e., if you cannot be onsite at 6:00 a.m., do not sign up for that shift).
• Only shifts with availability will be visible in this system. Shifts that are full will not be visible.
• If you need to cancel your shift(s), please do so ASAP to open availability for other volunteers.
• We ask for flexibility while volunteering as you may be required to complete a shift in a role other than the one you applied for.
• If the job or shift that you want is not listed, that means that it is currently not available. You may monitor this site for cancellations or add your name to the waitlist to be contacted if any shifts become available.
• Please note that the job(s) and shift(s) you sign up for are subject to change. If changes are necessary, you will be notified immediately via email.
• If you do not follow the shift selection guidelines, your application may not be approved, or you may be assigned different shift(s).

ATTENDANCE IN SESSIONS
A primary incentive of volunteering for a canfitpro event is the free access to educational sessions, available on Friday, and Saturday. You cannot pre-register for sessions. As a volunteer you will be on stand-by for all sessions and may attend while NOT ON SHIFT. You cannot attend sessions nor are you eligible for CECs while you are on shift. Volunteers can register for any Intensives at the lowest Member Delegate rate, under the assumption that you fulfill your volunteer commitment. Volunteers will also have access to post session recordings from the canfitpro Global Conference Online Sessions. You will receive an email once the recordings become available.
